After you decide on which assistive technology devices and services you need, funding can sometimes be difficult. The following services and resources can help you get funding for assistive technology devices and services:

Easter Seals Iowa Assistive Technology Program (ESI ATP) provides information to Iowa consumers and family members about potential sources of funding for the purchase of assistive technology.  When a consumer requests help in finding funding for a specific piece of equipment, ESI ATP will ask a series of questions to determine which public programs and private organizations might be able to help. It provides information about local and state agencies that loan out AT devices. For more information contact:

Iowa Able Alternative Finance Loan Program offers reduced interest loans for purchase of assistive technology (AT) devices or services, including home modifications, hearing aids and adapted vehicles.

Recycled Used Devices Programs make used assistive technology devices available at little or no cost.
